Topanga Actors Company Is Back...

Topanga Actors Company has set its 2023 fall season with three productions from now through Thanksgiving at both Topanga and Malibu libraries. All performances start at 2 p.m., are free to the public and have full open seating/no ticket policy. Both libraries offer free parking. THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT: Malibu Library, September 16 &17; Topanga Library September 23 & 24. A play based on John D’Agata and Jim Fingal’s best-selling book about the head-to-head battle of a fresh, out-of-Harvard fact-checker and an author whose essay could save a magazine from collapse should it ever be published. This is a staged reading performed by Jessica Hendra, Harry Hart-Browne, and Zeke Reed. THE BOY WHO SAW TRUE: Topanga Library, October 21 & 22; Malibu Library, October 28 & 29. Master storyteller Harry Hart-Browne shares his adaptation of a boy’s diary that’s been called a classic of the paranormal in an hour-long entertainment perfectly timed for Halloween. SHORT-PLAY FESTIVAL 2023: Topanga Library, November 4 & 5; Second weekend: Topanga Library Novemer 18 & 19. Two afternoons of totally original plays by international playwrights selected from hundreds of submissions and performed as staged readings by company members and guests. Why drive downtown when you may see stirring contemporary theater right in your backyard? TAC is a full partner with LA County Library for 2023
