The Boy Who Saw True Adapted and narrated by Harry Hart-Browne

October 13, 2023 A Victorian boy possessed of singular powers recounts his experiences of the paranormal and is roundly disbelieved by practically everyone. The Boy Who Saw True by Anonymous is the diary of a boy who “saw true” because he had a special gift for the paranormal. It has the power to convince because our young diarist never sets out with the intention of convincing. The narration presents a host of characters from mamma and papa to various disbelieving neighbors and the odd ghost; can the man in the chair really be Uncle Willie whose been dead for three years? Our storyteller Harry Hart-Browne has made guest appearances on a host of popular television shows and received eleven theater awards for Excellence in Acting. He has long dreamed of combining his storytelling talents and a book described by an authority as a “time-honored classic of the paranormal.” While it isn’t “spooky” in the traditional sense it is very mystical and filled with spirits! The Boy Who Saw True will appeal to a wide audience. We simply ask you don’t bring your little ones. Teenagers will enjoy it as much as adults. So before you hand out the Halloween candy.... Program lasts about 65 minutes. Stay behind afterwards, chat with Harry, and enjoy some complimentary refreshments. Four performances: Topanga Library, October 21 & 22 at 2 p.m., Malibu Library, October 28 & 29 at 2 p.m. FREE/OPEN SEATING/LIBRARY PARKING Contact us at topangaactorscompany@gmail.com
