TCC Giving Challenge

After two years of pandemic inactivity, the Topanga Community Center (TCC) is setting its fundraising goals in anticipation of happier days ahead.
On Saturday, November 6, an Open House and Bocce Ball tournament kicked off its first fundraising event with a Fall Giving Challenge scheduled to continue through Giving Tuesday on November 30 with a goal of $25,000.

Topanga prides itself on being an independent, free-minded place, where we take care of our own, which includes our Topanga Community Center. That is why the TCC is not County run and why (when there is not a pandemic) the TCC gets to host events the way the community wants. As our community sees the end of the pandemic on the horizon, the TCC anticipates an even greater need to bring our Topanga friends together, and looks forward to being that place again.

The TCC is a unique community space, run by a volunteer board that is tasked with maintaining and enhancing 11 acres of private property for the community. This is done so the TCC can offer low-cost classes to all ages, have a space for events, meetings, programs, and rentals, give dinners for our Canyon Sages, and have a nurturing place for our Topanga Youth Services and so much more. That is why the TCC needs our community’s support by becoming a member and contributing throughout the year. Whether you are using the grounds right now or not, please know that your financial buy-in to the TCC, no matter how much, adds up and makes a difference!

If the TCC can meet its goal of $25,000 by the end of Giving Tuesday on November 30th, they will host a special event open to those who supported it during this month.

Inspired? Excited at the prospect of an active community center again? Donate today and share this with your friends.
