Canyon Sages volunteers have been active as a group behind the scenes during the pandemic helping seniors with meals, vaccines, and information. As part of their effort, the Sages provide Home Health Care and Drivers lists to anyone who asks but, in particular, seniors. These are lists of workers, most with local references, who can be be hired to work for seniors who need their services.
Lately, they have responded to more calls than usual for people who need these services and are seeking additional caregivers and drivers to add to the list.
Caregivers: If you are a caregiver or know someone who is, please sign up! You will be asked to provide contact information, background and experience, local or other references, and approximate cost of services. Fees are arranged privately between the caregiver and person hiring them.
Drivers: If you seek a driving position, or know someone who is, either as a volunteer or in a paid position, you will be asked to provide contact information, background and experience, local or other references, and approximate cost of services (details arranged privately).
To request services or obtain a list: It’s up to you to contact the Sages, interview, and arrange pricing for each worker.
