SHERIFF’S REPORT

Noteworthy Incidents An assault occurred on South Topanga Canyon Boulevard. The victim told the suspect that he had to leave the premises due to smoking marijuana in public and harassing women outside the location. The suspect became aggressive, began to yell at the victim and assaulted the victim. (23-02553) A Topanga resident was arrested for assault of a peace officer on Cuesta Cala Road. Deputies were in the area for a vandalism call of service in which the victim stated the suspect threw a rock at his vehicle causing damage. The suspect then used bodily force and an object to assault deputies. (23-02311) A residential burglary was reported on Muerdago Road. Suspect(s) unknown shattered a front glass door to the home office to make entry. (23-02231) A Landers, CA, resident was arrested for theft on Callon Drive. The suspect was walking around the area stealing property from several victims. All stolen property was recovered. (23-02063) A domestic violence incident was reported on Colina Drive. The suspect assaulted his ex-girlfriend during a disagreement and fled from the location. (23-02132). See charts for figures of serious crimes in the Topanga area for the month of May 2023. ROBERT G.
