Classes Begin at Community Center
Velvet Marshall Named Sages Activities Director

In addition to being the instructor for the Sages art classes coming back to the Community Center after a two-year-long COVID-19 shutdown of activities, artist Velvet Marshall has agreed to take on the responsibilities of the Sages Activities Director. She laughingly says she’s not quite sure what that entails but will be leading the charge to find instructors to teach Chair yoga, Tai Chi, Qi gong, Knitting, Crochet, Macrame, Help with Electronics (cell phones and basic computer skills), Memory classes and Music Therapy.

Her own six-week series of classes begin on April 1, Monday, Wednesdy, and Friday with workshops in Drawing, Acrylic painting, and Watercolor.

The deadline for enrollment is April 8th. For times and dates of classes and to register: velvetmarshall@gmail.com; (310) 525-0328. (See ad on page 13)
