Cali Free Protests Against Vaccine Mandates
Dear Editor,
On Wednesday, November, a strong group of like-minded concerned citizens stood united along PCH at the Malibu Pier, in a peaceful rally against Covid-19-related mandates.

During a time where the message increasingly seems to be “Get vaccinated or be excluded from society,” many folks are wondering how far governments are going to take this and what the future of our children is. It has become apparent there is a common urgency to take a stand and make voices heard. This was not about politics, Republican or Democrat, black or white, male or female; the common denominator was a request for medical freedom and a halt to the increasing mandates.

The group is named Cali Free and is pro-choice, not anti-vax. Members of LAPD were invited, as well as local fire departments, medical workers, teachers, nurses; the majority were Malibu locals. Two sheriffs’ teams stood by holding the peace. When asked to join in, one responded, “I wish we could, we’re with you.”

People had come prepared with banners they held up to passing traffic, reading, “Medical Freedom,” “My Body, My choice,” “Why are Vaccine Companies Exempt from Liability?!” “End the Censorship of Vaccine Injuries.” Mothers’ and children’s signs read, “Let the Parents Call the Shots,” and “I am not a science experiment.” It seemed like every other vehicle driving by honked in support, or showed a thumbs up to the crowd. Similar rallies are happening across Greater Los Angeles, California, around the country, and worldwide.
