October Sheriff’s Report
A resident was arrested for a domestic violence incident for assaulting his wife during an argument in the 1500 block of Old Topanga Canyon Road.
An attempted residential burglary occurred in the1400 block of Bonnell Drive. The victim was sleeping at the time of the incident., heard the dogs barking but did not think anything was suspicious due to the fact that the dogs bark often. An hour later, the victim noticed that both the kitchen window and screen door were slightly open. The victim believed that unknown suspect(s) attempted entry but were scared away due to the barking dogs.
A residential burglary was reported in the 700 block of Basin Drive. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence which is currently under construction. A bicycle and tools were stolen. Not suspect(s) seen or heard.
A theft occurred in the 1500 block of Old Topanga Canyon road. The victim’s cell phone was stolen from the kitchen area of the location. A witness saw a friend of the property owner steal the phone. The case is ongoing.
A domestic violence incident was reported in the 1100 block of Comanche. The suspects are going through a divorce and assaulted each other during an argument.
